Breakfast Club

20th May 2015

Ebrington’s breakfast Club is funded by Extended Schools and aims to provide pupils of all ages with a safe, fun and nutritious place to start their school day. Breakfast club is open to all pupils and parents from 8am each day until 8.45am.

The club is informal and friendly allowing children a choice as to how to start the day; some children like to wake up slowly, others prefer to get on and play. Our breakfast club provides for both and Mrs McDowell our Co-ordinator plans structured activities to complement everyone.

Each morning a nourishing breakfast is provided. The children are encouraged to help themselves, sit down and talk together and then clear up their dishes. The menu offers ‘Special Breakfasts’ for 40p which might include cereal/porridge, hot drinks/juice and toast. On some days of the week a hot breakfast is offered as an alternative to cereal.

At the end of each session the children are well fed, happy and ready to learn.
