We had a fabulous day today when we celebrated Castle Day. The children all dressed as knights, maidens, kings - there were even a few dragons and horses to be found! We enjoyed designing a crest, shield and decorating biscuits to go with the fruit lances we prepared for our banquet. In the 'Great Hall' we danced to Greensleeves and thoroughly enjoyed the party atmosphere.
Special thanks to the parents who put so much effort into the homemade costumes - everyone looked fabulous - but those were extra special. I wish I had such talent!
