School Football Team retain "Marty Gallagher Memorial Shield"
For the Second Successive Year Ebrington retained the "Marty Gallagher Memorial Shield". The tournament itself was over two weeks. In week one, a narrow defeat against St Johns, followed by a 4.1 victory over Long Tower ensured progression. In what was an extremely tense and nerve wracking semi final, the boys narrowly defeated Steelstown on Penalties following a nil nil draw in normal time. The final proved to be somewhat of a similiar affair. After a goaless first half, St Patricks took a one nil lead before a tremendous goal by Ebrington's Luke Curry again took the game to penalties. Adam Robb proved to be the hero with a spectacular penalty save. Below is a Picture of the boys with the 2015 trophy. Well done boys. Mr Moore
