What a very special musical send-off for an exceptional Principal. This morning was Mr Dougherty's retirement assembly at which the whole school took part. The assembly took the form of 'This is Your Life' to which special family and friends (most of whom were a surprise) were invited to share in the celebrations. The musical items included the School Band playing a Beatles Medley and all children from Nursery to P7 singing a selection of Mr Dougherty's favourite songs. At the end, Mr Dougherty was presented with lovely gifts, a 'This is Your Life' book and a personalized cake. We wish Mr Dougherty a long and happy retirement. We couldn't have asked for a better leader for our school.
