April in Nursery 1
It has been another busy month in Nursery!
We have been learning about shapes and Spring, including the lifecycle of a frog. We were very excited to have 'real' frogspawn and tadpoles to look at. We had to return them to the pond, but hopefully in the next few weeks we will see some froglets and frogs.
We were learning about building and the roles of the different builders - joiner, plumber, electrician and builder. We thoroughly enjoyed taking on these roles in Nursery and exploring the different tools.
We were also learning about weddings and enjoyed dressing up in the home corner. Thank you to the Mum's and Dad's for sharing your wedding pictures with us, we loved looking at them!
Our 'Sharing from the Start' Programme, with Holy Child is going very well. We look forward to the next few weeks of continuing with it and then our 'Jo Jingles Showcase' performance in May, at the Waterside Theatre.
Take a look at our April Photographs.
