Last week Ebrington primary school competed in the regional heats to qualify for the national football competition held in Lisburn. The tournament took place at the fabulous new surroundings of Bay Road soccer centre. Despite being on the end of a narrow 2.1 loss to eventual winners St Patricks P.S in the first round, the boys recovered to defeat Holy Family P.S 4.2, St Johns 6.2 and Greenhaw 7.3. All the boys thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Training for the boys will resume at 3PM on Monday 11th April at 3PM. In the forthcoming months the boys will compete in the Wilson Manning, Sammy Sheppard and Brandywell indoor tournaments. Dates to follow.
