We enjoyed a brilliant trip to City of Derry Airport where Mervyn Quigg, a firefighter at the airport, showed us around.
We looked at the special fire engines which work at the City of Derry, timed two children get dressed up as a firefighter and saw a plane land and take off.
We learnt so much today and had a great time. All the adults were tempted to board the plane but we thought Mr Dougherty might not be too happy so we brought them back to school.
