Police Officers visit Nursery!
Today we had two very special visitors to Nursery - Police Officer Mark and Police Officer Heather.
They showed us the different hats they wear when they are out working in the community.
They told us how they help to look after us and keep us safe. We talked about how important it is to wear you bike helmet when out cycling and that everyone has to wear their seatbelt in the car before the car starts to move.
Mark told us how to cross the road safely. He said we have to "stop, look with our eyes and listen with our ears."
Mark and Heather talked about what we should do if we get lost from our mummy's and daddy's in a shop and who can help us. Michael and Sienna knew that what a stranger was and that we should never talk to someone we don't know.
Michael was very interested to know about the handcuffs so Mark showed them to him and poor Miss Caithness got handcuffed! Heather had to get the key to free her!
Thank you so much Mark and Heather for coming to visit us in Nursery today!
