Have a look at P4 investigating TIMBRE through their topic of Weather Watchers. Together we have been learning about the importance of listening to all sorts of sounds...even silence! Our special class song, 'Sound Collectors' (which you can hear a clip of in our Gallery!) helps us to focus on these different timbres. Just ask us for for some expressive words to describe the timbre of different instruments or weather sounds...we will amaze you with what we can do! Each week, those children who Mrs Armstrong sees listening and participating with most enthusiasm get a Musical Reward.
