The Paramedic visits Nursery!
Today we had such a special visitor in Nursery!
Paramedic Simon and Paramedic Emma brought the ambulance and talked to the children about how they help us. The children loved every minute and were so good at listening to what the Paramedics said!
Simon asked why we might need a paramedic. Mason M said "you might be sick" and Mason W said "if there's an emergency!"
We saw the special bed that they use to get patients into the ambulance and hospital. Simon asked if it was the same as their bed at home. Michael said "it has wheels" and Rachel said "it has a seatbelt on it!"
Emma showed us the special carry chair that they use if the patient is upstairs. Carter demonstrated how it was used and Isla said "it's like a wheelbarrow!"
Such a fabulous morning! Thank you so much Simon and Emma for coming to visit us!
