Today P2 went to City of Derry airport. Mervyn was our guide and he told us lots of things about fire engines and aeroplanes. We saw the really big fire engine squirt water. It was fun! We saw an aeroplane land and take off and waved to the passengers who arrived. We were able to name the parts of an aeroplane as we had already learned this in school. Mervyn was impressed!! We came back to school and had a picnic together.
