Our new special colour in Nursery is yellow!
Go for a hunt around your house or when you are out for a walk.
Can you find any yellow items?
How many can you find?
Can you name the yellow items that you have found? Do you know what they are used for?
Pick 6 yellow items. You close your eyes and get your grown up to take one away! Do you know which one they took away?
Have a look in your craft box. Have you got any yellow items in there? Maybe you could make a yellow picture using the different yellow items, just like what we do in Nursery!
If you have the ingredients, you could make some yellow playdough. (recipe is in the curriculum pack)
If you have yellow food colouring, why not fill a basin or tray with water and colour it yellow. Get some clear items and fill and pour using the yellow water. Talk about full, empty and half full.
